Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez aren’t exactly the names you’d associate with demure, elegant dressing, but at this weekend’s iHeart Radio Music Festival, they both showed off their abilities to restrain themselves sartorially.
Until they hit the stage and unleashed their inner divas, that is.
On the red carpet, Gaga looked more restrained than ever in a LBD, elbow-length gloves, black pumps and a rhinestone choker (very Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired), while J-Lo kept it simple in a white turtleneck dress with hot pink heels.

But once they hit the stage, it was all wild hair, leather, feathers and sparkly leotards. Gaga kept it fetish-inspired with lace-up boots and a sheer leotard, while J Lo donned glittery tights and a red fringed-and-feathered dress for her performance.
