Lindsay Lohan lands a job as face of German label

It seems that a series of legal woes, a flailing acting career and an infamous stint as the worst French fashion house collaboratrice of all time still haven’t destroyed Lindsay Lohan’s fashionable prospects.
The starlet was announced as the new face of German designer Philipp Plein’s label during Milan Fashion Week over the weekend. LiLo, who will appear in spring/summer ’12 ads for the brand (expect fetish-style studded shoulders and asymmetrical sparkly dresses), follows in the footsteps of another fallen Hollywood actress, Mischa Barton, who appeared in the label’s campaign in 2010.
“Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model. We will be able to create unique images: Refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality,” the designer said in a release. LiLo was spotted front row at his show after the announcement.
